About these terms

These terms govern your use of the Grihawise website, demos and household management service. Please read them alongside our privacy policy. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the service.

Grihawise helps organise household information and actions. Features, supported devices and availability may evolve. A demonstration or a description of a planned feature is not a promise of a particular release date.

Your account and household

You must be an adult legally able to agree to these terms and authorised to manage the information you provide. Keep your credentials secure, provide accurate account information and let us know about suspected misuse.

Invite only people you intend to give access to your household. You are responsible for having the appropriate permission to enter information about family members, flatmates, staff and other people. Permissions and shared records may affect other members, so review them before making changes.

Assistant and voice features

When available and configured, the app’s assistant interprets text or voice requests and may perform supported updates to your household. Speech recognition and AI can misunderstand names, quantities, dates or intent. Review action results and correct errors promptly, especially for financial records and important reminders.

Grihawise is not an emergency service, a home security system or a substitute for professional financial, legal or medical advice. Do not rely on a reminder as the sole safeguard for an urgent or safety-critical task.

Recording purchases, expenses or staff pay does not itself send money, order goods or book a third-party service. The public website’s guided demo uses sample data and scripted responses; its actions do not change your real household.

Responsible use

• Use the service lawfully and respect other people’s privacy and rights.
• Do not attempt to access someone else’s account, bypass access controls, distribute malicious code or disrupt the service.
• Do not upload unlawful content or use household records to harass, exploit or covertly monitor someone.
• Do not impersonate another person or misrepresent your authority over a household.

We may restrict access where reasonably necessary to address misuse, a security concern or a legal obligation. Where appropriate and feasible, we will provide an explanation and a way to contact us.

Your information

You retain your rights in the information and materials you provide. You allow us and the service providers described in the privacy policy to process that information as needed to operate the features you use. That permission is limited to providing, maintaining and securing the service and meeting applicable obligations.

Keep copies of important information. Exports and deletion options are described in the privacy policy. Deleting your account does not necessarily remove shared household records where another owner remains.

Other services and availability

Hosting, email, notification and AI providers support different parts of the experience. External websites and services have their own terms and privacy practices. Grihawise cannot guarantee their availability or accuracy.

Maintenance, technical failures, provider limits and connectivity can interrupt service. We aim to keep the product useful and available, but cannot promise uninterrupted operation or error-free outputs. Any paid offering will identify its pricing and applicable purchase terms before you are asked to pay; this website does not itself take subscription payments.

Copyright, brand and credits

Grihawise branding and website materials are owned by, or used with permission by, the operator, subject to any third-party rights. Do not use the brand in a way that suggests affiliation or endorsement without permission.

The home illustration was created for Grihawise with AI-assisted image generation. The site uses Bricolage Grotesque and DM Sans, available through Google Fonts under their respective open-source font licences. Third-party software and materials remain subject to their own licences. These terms do not claim ownership of your household content.

For reuse permission or a copyright concern, contact privacy@grihawise.in. Identify the material, its location and your relationship to the rights holder so we can review it.

Responsibility and your legal rights

The service is provided on an “as available” basis. To the extent permitted by applicable law, we do not make additional guarantees about its fitness for a particular purpose or the accuracy of automated outputs. You remain responsible for reviewing decisions and actions involving your home.

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits rights, remedies or responsibilities that cannot lawfully be excluded, including applicable consumer protections. If there is a problem, contact us so we can try to resolve it.

Updates and contact

We may revise these terms as the service develops. We will update the date on this page and highlight material changes where appropriate. Separate terms presented for a specific feature apply to that feature in addition to these terms.
